             abstract = "The cloud computing is a breakthrough technology being used by 
                         applications in remote sensing. The Treecover 2000 product 
                         establishes for each pixel of 30 m of spatial resolution a 
                         percentage of 0 to 100 of forest cover for the year 2000. The 
                         objective of this work was to answer the following question: What 
                         is the threshold to define a forest cover mask for year 2000 in 
                         the Amazon basin? The proportion of forests in plots of 10 km2 
                         between PRODES for the year 2000 and GFC Treecover 2000 in five 
                         different thresholds (10-100%, 80-100%, 85-100%, 90-100% and 95- 
                         100%) were compared in XY axes. The results indicate the 
                         thresholds of 80-100% and 85-100% to create a forest cover mask 
                         from the year 2000.",
